It's Friday, what have you learned this week?

We do this on my forum and I thought it may be fun to do here. So here goes

I have learned...............

Great people do exist in my world
Not following the parking rules on my street will get you a $20. fine LOL
Summer is back if only for today
Not to be scared to ask for help, you will get it tenfold!
Working 16 hour days is exhausting but rewarding
NOT everyone can read Chinese LMAO
A member jokingly called me a jerk, he is just jealous I have a BIG deck haha

SO what have you learned this week?

Now let's see:
I have learned :
Leslie has another forum which I didn't know about.
my roof will need new shingles next year.
we may need a couple of new windows soon.
draining my peaches from the syrup/flour mixture makes a better pie.
I love this message board and the fact that no one is super aggressive or annoying!
my hubby's daughter will be here next weekend.

People on this board DONT like a fellow named PD
People on this board are great friends to each other (do you already know each other personally)
I really like playing the song game
My little girl thinks I make really good chicken

I've learned guitar god, Jimmy Page, with be performing with Leona Lewis (not really sure who she is) playing one of the best rock songs of all time, Whole Lotta Love, at the olympic closing ceremonies on Sunday

Know each other personally........... I do a couple, my brother who never posts LOL, my cousin who is too shy to post (come on Bonnie) and a couple of my clients are on here.
Others I know from online through the years I was with kwic. and last but definately not least the wonderful members I consider friends I have met online on Norfolk talks and so far I have had the pleasure of meeting 4 live and in person!

I learned that you shouldn't just take life for granted...

I learned not to be shy thanks to my cousin.

I've learned that a caesar at 2 in the afternoon mellows me out a weeeeee bit! (And it's not the salad caesar!)

I've learned;

1. blood really isn't thicker than water
2. people will do things that benefit them and will lie to get ahead
3. parental alienation as cruel as it is.. is alive and well
4. everyone has their own agenda
5. most people won't admit their mistakes/when they're wrong
6. money is often the motivation behind people's plans
7. I can be rather cynical lol
