Subject: Satellite Radio question Sat Jun 28, 2008 3:13 pm
Does anyone know if a person can use their car sat. radio and hook it up inside the home and feed the music to the computer hard drive using Goldwave or some other program. I do this same type of thing when transfering my cassette tapes to CD.

If you have Sirius I know you can go on the site in listen live, but if you are using a portable radio and it has a 1/4 mini jack (headphone) then just plug it into the "IN" on your sound card to capture it. keep in mind to keep the volume level on the radio VERY low as headphone out levels are higher than 'line' level
