I have no idea, but am glad it was. It was extremely inflammatory and - in my humble opinion - jeopardizing this guy's chance at a fair trial. He is entitled to this (a fair trial) and if he can't get one, it is very possible that there could be an aquittal in the case

Maybe it was hitting a little close to home.

Perhaps Mr. Rodgers' lawyer may have pressured the radio station to remove it.

Could be very interesting to say the least. I will try very hard to make it to that court case to sit and watch him squirm.

Judging by the posts that were made there, it sounded like there were a few more potential victims of his posting about their experiences with him in the past.

Perhaps the police want to use this information as evidence against him and wanted it removed?

I don't think we have heard the end of this matter by any means and I wouldn't be surprised if the number of counts increases judging by the responses on the CD98.9 website.

I think it would have been crazy for the station to leave it on with so many accusations on both the accused and the accusers.

Comments had clearly become too legally hot for it to remain on an anonymous forum.

The police had asked for people with information to contact them, not CD 98.9.

Perhaps he threatened to quit advertising his Car dealership (Simcoe Chrysler) on the Radio Station if they didn't remove the comments. That's my guess.

The Police asked other victims to come forward to the Police in their original press release.

No chance. The Crown would request to move the trial to Brantford or Hamilton to give him a fair trial instead of aquitting him without a trial due to a few posts on a message board.

I think what the person who started this thread was referring to is the fact that about twenty or thirty comments vanished from the CD 98.9 message board sometime late on Friday afternoon. The original stories and a handful of comments are still there.
