| Weather forecasters predict a lovely upcoming long weekend. Our holiday is attributed to John Graves Simcoe, who named and established Yonge Street in Toronto, camped in Simcoe at one point, lieutenant gov. of Upper Canada, abolished slavery, etc. What are you doing on this weekend? | |

| Darn....well, since slavery HAS already been abolished....I won't be doing that this weekend. - SZQ wrote:

| Tomorrow, I'm going out to the old junior ranger's camp on Turkey Point Road and do some sweeping and mopping. 30 International students have been there for week and have now left-so the camp has to be put back in order. Later going out for dinner and Mamma-Mia with my dear wife. Will be heading down to Friendhip Festival too. Some yard work too-the new rainy season we are having has put me behind. | |

| If you are going to see Mamma Mia, get there an hour early...or you won't sit together. Still sold out performances! | |

| My daughter and I finished up wedding related things that needed doing, went to Friendship Festival for just a little while and hung out by the pool. It was great having a weekend with my daughter home, something I don't get very often. | |

| Thanks so much Leslie. She really enjoyed being able to come home and relax. Now just hope it doesn't rain for her wedding on August 30th. | |
