Has anyone used the free credit report found on 98.9 website. They want your card number which I don't think they need.

I would never ever ever give my card out to something like that ..my parents taught me years ago that nothing is free ,theres always a catch and if they have your credit card # it may be an expensive catch.

Read the fine print its not free if they get your credit card # they charge is $29.95 a month forever its a scam

If you Google "Credit Bureau" using Canadian pages only one of the first listed is Transunion, one of the 2 bureaus used by the banks. It's free on line, a small charge to have it mailed. The mailed may be more detailed. Equifax is the other, they have the same service.

The first one that came up for me is the same one as on cd98.9. McAFEE had a red warning on it.
