Subject: Where to rent women's tux? Mon Jul 21, 2008 3:10 pm
I am standing up as a groomswoman in my brothers wedding in November and would like to wear a nice fitted women's tux. Does anyone know of a store in this area? (or even Brantford/Hamilton) that you can rent a ladies tux from?

My daughter wanted to buy a suit (she doesn't wear dresses) and she went to Moore's in Brantford. The fellow who served her didn't react in any way to a woman buying a man's suit. I know they do formal wear rentals so you might try them but I don't think you will find anyone renting an actual 'women's tux' in this region.

Likewise, my wife did the same thing at Moore's. They handled the alterations perfectly.
They are sure to either find you an appropriate suit or perhaps even know of how to come by a woman's tux.
