I have to share this. Several years ago, I came across Reebok Princess fitness shoes. They sell them in the Sears catalogue (for the past few years..and still there)...and also at Paul's Shoes in Delhi. They come in white and black. Paul's also sells the men's version...but not called Princess!! HAHA!
In the catalogue, you can get the white in wide. They are glove leather...very thin leather and soft. There are no seams on the toe area, just kind of wraparound.
Perfect for people with sore toes and bunions etc. The sole has great support but it is soft and has a good arch.
Anyway, when I was teaching I wore them every day...almost. The only thing that kept me standing and energetic all day. I never got tired, even when I was past 50!
On several occasions, I came across others..health care workers, people at the gym etc. who found these to be the only shoes that kept them moving and/or in the workforce. Today I saw another pair on another pair of feet.
Those of you looking for a good pair of shoes...you might give them a try. About $70 I think. (My husband prefers New Balance but my son wears the black Reeboks. Also easy to build up on the sole area if you need some orthopedic adjustments as they have a flat bottom.)
