Lottery Cleanup Tough on Stores Empty

http://www.torontosun.com/News/Canada/2008/07/18/6191866-sun.html

According to this Sun article store owners are taking the brunt of the hits from investigators looking into the operations of Lottery sales units. The store owners associations are complaining that good operators are being harrassed because of a few bad apples.

Too bad for them. This business was suppose to be regulated from the start and everyone who has kiosks or other setups knew it but the authorities never did their job, so now i suppose they are.

Reputable operators will have all the documents and procedures in place and the rest can either ship up or get out of the Lottery business. Integrity is everything and even one bad operator loses millions in revenue for our hospitals and community services.
