I just bought a few pints of Rasberries on # 3 hwy at Zelams for $3.75, but see Bosma is only $3.00, quite a difference. As I say it can be cheaper to buy them in the stores that are selling them, when your paying 3.75. And they are local so your still supporting the farmers. In my time you could always get a deal buying directly from the farmer. Now you drive out there and pay more besides.

Yes but in the store are they picked that very same day or did they sit some where for a day or two in a hot steamy warhouse or back of a truck? Are they bursting with that fresh taste and juices when you tos one in your mouth?

You also have the option usually of picking your own and knocking off some of the cost.

good point, fresher from the field. I usually pick my own fruit, but I hate picking rasberries.
