If your question is 'Can I just walk into the Registry Office and add a name to the title of a piece of land?', the answer is - No.
You will need a lawyer to draw up a Form 1 - Transfer/Deed of Land which will convey the ownership of the land from the existing owners to the new owners (even if some of the new are also the existing) as well as a Land Transfer Tax Affidavit. If the property in question has a mortgage on it, you may not be able to do this without their prior approval and a new Form 2 - Charge/Mortgage of Land. Land Transfer Tax may or may not be payable - your lawyer will determine that for you. In addition to lawyer fees and Land Transfer Tax (if any) there will also be registration fees at the Registry Office. These will probably run between $50.00 - $150.00 depending on exactly what form are actually filed.
Nothing in life is simple.
