| Hello All...
I should probably ask Katzz this before posting it here so maybe I'm taking liberties that I shouldn't be, but wanted everyone's opinion on adding an additional forum here and then I can ask the Powers That Be!
Lots of animal lovers in the area and many people who need/want/like more info on feeding, training, rescue, tips and tricks and perhaps a place to brag about our pets accomplishments and pics etc?
Anyone interested in a forum that deals with our furry friends? Whether they be domesticated or wild?

| German Shepherds ROCK! I have three of them...!
Of course everyone has their favorites! Maybe if we can convince Katzz to go for a pet forum, we can all introduce our furkids!?!?!

| I am not trying to set up a message board, but more of a community.
This community I feel should be dictated by the people in it, therefore it really isn't me that you need to convince it is the people of this community. My part is to merely help in this process.
Constructive criticism, is very welcome... it will help us move onward.

| Well put, Katzz! But as the Grand PooBa who started this wonderful board, I just wanted your OK before putting the word out there! | |

| Sounds like a great idea! My original training was in Animal Health... though I'm no longer actively working in that field, it's still very near and dear to my heart! I have maintained my skill/knowledge... for my own cat's sake...but, if I can offer tips, suggestions or advice, I certainly will! | |

| Anyone who has a pet that sheds excessively.....try the Furminator!
They aren't cheap, but believe me they are worth every single penny!!!
My shepherds shed like crazy (especially one with a dense undercoat), decided to bite the bullet and get one of these things and they are unbelievable. A good product to anyone with cat's or dogs and who wants to cut down on the vacuming!

| We have a soft coated Wheaten Terrier named Riley. He's a mid sized dog, 35 pounds, the colour of wheat and very well behaved. He learns new 'tricks' very quickly. When we are out for our walks and reach the place to cross the road, he looks to the left, then right and with a quick quick command, crosses the road, sits down on the other side and gives me a "high five". LOL He works well for a little bit of cooked and baked beef heart! If only my spouse could be as easily trained.........chuckle chuckle. | |

| I love hearing how so many of you have rescues! "Why buy when a shelter animal dies?"
Will post some pics of my trio of Shepherds the second I get them loaded to photobucket....
