1 Cup Rolled Oats
1 Cup Sour Milk Or Buttermilk
1 Cup Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
4 Tbs. Shortening Or Margarine
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Egg, Beaten
1/2 Cup Raisins
Method:
1.) Soak oats in buttermilk, or sour milk to make muffins light, fluffy, and moist.
2.) Then add all the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
3.) Fill each muffin tin 2/3 full.
4.) Bake at 400 F for 20 minutes.
Makes 12 muffins
