Lets start a movie

I sit back and watch people around the world, usually people that had big names but never made it where they wanted to, make movies to cash in the big bucks.

I feel the global warming movie by Al Gore was nothing more than a cash cow and a personal treasure for Gore who couldnt win the presidency so he figured he would try to be the man some where else even through plain old lies.

So I say to you let makes a global cooling movie and become rich just like al gore, I mean we have proof, canada hasnt even had a summer, cold, rain, hail, wind. Iraq which is a desert had a snow storm last November, all across the eastern states its cold as hell.

Think of the money we could make fooling the entire world, lets face it we as humans are addicted to destruction and our deaths, if there is something out there that could be the end of us we will believe it and buy into it wether true or not even if its simply saying its getting hot or cold. Look at nostrodomus or whatever his name is, famous for predicting doom and gloom and the end of the world, the guy is famous for eternity, lets start a book called Skullystrodomus and we could be instant millionaires claiming the world will end in 3012 long after were gone so we dont get critized.

Skully, I don't know what planet you're living on, but my thermometer says it is 32 C. in Port Dover right now. Just how much hotter do you want it to get?

yeah but some of the hottest records were back from the early 1900's.. so who's to say Global Warming isn't BS?

I remember watching Penn & Teller's show "BS". They had some eye opening information about Mr. Gore...This guy has something in the magnitude of 10 times our carbon footprint yet he constantly promotes this idea of purchasing 'carbon credits' to offset his usage - he also thinks it is society's duty to do the same. Somewhat like a Monarchy system where the rich can buy their right to pollute and have fun while the rest of us can conserve like sheep.
Here's the rub. The company that Gore bought these 'carbon credits' from? Yes, you guessed it - HIS OWN COMPANY. He started a company that sells carbon credits - how 'convenient'.

Just another snake oil salesmen without the white collar.

Having said that, I do believe in climate change - just that the earth moves in cycles and our insignifant selves cannot do much to change this - we just have to ride it out.

This is Y2k all over again.
