Thank you..... she is SUCH an angel....

After I lost Kizzie (also a Himmie) at almost 21 years old, I was heartbroken beyond belief.

Then circumstances were such that I came across Tiara (with no intention of getting another kitty).... but she needed to be rescued. Her eyes were sealed shut with infection...and she weighed just over 3 pounds at 3 years old (she should've been 7.5-8 lbs).
She was a champion show cat....but when she couldn't deliver her litter...she had to be spayed and then became of 'no value' to the breeder....so she was left in a shed.... unbelievable.

With the drastic changes they've made to the facial structure of himmies over the years, Tiara cannot eat on her own without clogging up... she has no bridge to her nose and very very tiny nostrils....
Found a solution though ~ I puree her food and syringe feed her at every meal.... and she took to that immediately.

She tries to eat crunchies on her own, and gets a few down, but not enough to count it as a meal.

I love her to pieces!

WOW! She is one GORGEOUS and lucky cat! So glad you found each other.

Sounds like she is spoiled rotten...as she should be!

Smile Gotta tell ya.... my Kizzie was..... let's just say..... 'fiesty'. Everyone was afraid of her... except me. I recall a time when a tradesman was working on my furnace....and called me to the basement because she wouldn't let him in his toolbox. Smile

But, I loved her dearly too.... eventhough she'd slap me sooner than look at me.... it made her who she was.

Tiara on the other hand, is so gentle and docile.... the exact reason I think, that she ended up abused.
